About the Journal
Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences welcomes original research articles, short communications in the multidisciplinary fields of aquaculture and aquatic sciences encompassing:
- aquaculture;
- aquaculture engineering;
- management in aquaculture;
- aquaculture nutrition;
- disease & immunology;
- fish biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology;
- fish physiology & endocrinology;
- genetic engineering & biotechnology of aquatic organisms;
- aquatic biology, environment, and ecology;
- aquatic ecological conservation and restoration techniques;
- aquatic organisms biodiversity.
Aquatic sciences studies examining interactions among geological, microbial, biological, chemical, physical, hydrological, and societal processes, as well as studies assessing land-water, air-water, benthic-pelagic, river-ocean, lentic-lotic, and groundwater-surface water interactions are also welcomed. The emphasize of the studies are the tropical regions and tropical biodiversity. Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences published three issues per volume, each year.
