About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies discuss about education, arts, social and humanities in the form of field research, literature research, and reflection both theoretical and methodological.
1. In education includes research in the form of classroom action research and study theory about education and learning.
2. In social studies and humanities encompassing theoretical studies addressing social and humanities issues.
The Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies receive research-based articles or literature studies twice a year or every volume.
Peer Review Process
All articles received to The Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies will be selected, read, and reviewed in a blind (peer review) by (a minimum) 2 reviewers who are experts in their expertise. Acceptance of articles depends on the content, authenticity, clarity of the description, and conformity with the objectives of the journal.
The decision of the Editorial Board of the entry articles is acceptable without revision, received with minor revisions, received by major revision, or rejected. The results of review articles by reviewers will be notified to the author via email. The author is given an opportunity to revise his article in accordance with the reviewer's suggestion (and editor) no later than 4 weeks after the notification email. To prevent plagiarism, all articles received will be authenticated by using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.
No article processing and submission charges. All articles published in Metafora are open access by following the Creative Commons: Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license. Full license can be found here ( disini ).
Publication Frequency
Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies is a peer-reviewed journal that is managed and published by the Pusat Studi Seni Budaya, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies are published periodically two (2) times a year (April and November).
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The Sembadra : Journal of Arts and Education Studies is a journal of arts, art education, social of arts sciences, cultural and humanities of arts results from research, literature study results and scientific papers related to the social sciences, education and humanities.
