About the Journal
Journal of Indonesian Literacy and Indigenous Culture (JILIC) is a scientific medium for publishing research results or literature review studies. JILIC provides a scholarly forum for Indonesian literacy, culture, and language, ranging from theoretical approaches to practical applications. JILIC promotes interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or transdisciplinary integrating areas such as Literacy and Literacy Education, Digital Literacy, Linguistics, Literature, Local Culture and Oral Traditions, Regional Languages and Their Preservation, Ethnographic and Anthropological Cultural Studies, Studies on Multiculturalism and Diversity.
JILIC is a double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Centre of Literacy, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa). JILIC is published twice a year (June and December) and accepts manuscripts written in good English.
