Genera within the family Annonaceae, such as Annona squamosa, Annona reticulata, and Annona muricata, are sought for their nutraceutical and medicinal properties. These plants have a high phytochemical content and exhibit antibacterial properties, antioxidant compounds, and anticancer effects. The Annonas green methods are environmentally friendly agents as "green nanotechnology." Many nanoparticles, such as silver, gold, zinc oxide, copper oxide, magnesium oxide, and selenium, have been produced and characterized with various morphologies at the nanoscale. Green synthesis is safer and more cost-effective and has promising potential in moving forward medical advances in comparison to chemical methods of synthesis.
