Pada zaman modern seperti saat ini teknologi sangatlah kita butuhkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Teknologi sekarang sudah tidak dapat dipisahkan lagi dalam kehidupan manusia. Teknologi sangatlah membantu kita dalam berbagai hal. Tidak terkecuali kurikulum 2013 yang saat ini sudah menuntut para siswa menguasai teknologi. Teknologi dalam pendidikan sekarang mulai dibutuhkan sebagai bahan belajar untuk siswa. Dari wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan guru mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya ditemukan masalah belajar yang terjadi pada materi Interaksi Dalam Makhluk Hidup Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII. Nilai siswa dalam 3 tahun terakhir menunjukan banyak siswa lebih dari 50% nilainya berada dibawah KKM. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) yang layak dan efektif pada materi Interaksi Dalam Makhluk Hidup Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Terdapat tiga rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini yaitu Diperlukannya pengembangan media CAI pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Diperlukannya uji kelayakan pada media CAI untuk mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Diperlukan uji keefektifan pada media CAI untuk mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan Media Komputer Pembelajaran CAI untuk mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media CAI ini jika digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII khususnya di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan dari media CAI pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola untuk kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil analis data wawancara Ahli Materi diperoleh perhitungan nilai sebesar 94,15 termasuk dalam kategori (baik sekali). Dan Ahli Media perhitungan nilai sebesar 84,37 termasuk dalam kategori (baik sekali). Sedangkan hasil angket uji coba produk kepada siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya hasil presentase uji coba perorangan 93,74 (baik sekali), hasil presentase uji coba kelompok kecil 93,83 (baik sekali), serta hasil presentase pada uji coba kelompok besar 93,05 (baik sekali). Dengan hasil yang diperoleh tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media CAI ini dikategorikan baik sekali dan layak digunakan. Dari hasil analisis data hasil test pembelajaran menggunakan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan media CAI. Ini dapat dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai data hasil test nilai t hitung = 10,55. Dari hasil perhitungan d.b = N-1 = 38-1 = 37 (dikonsultasikan dengan tabel nilai t) dengan nilai t0,05 harga t tabel = 2,43. t hitung lebih besar dari pada tabel t tabel dengan perbandingan angka t hitung = 10,55 > t tabel = 2,43. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar materi Interaksi dalam Ekosistem Membentuk Suatu Pola di kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya.Downloads
