Abstract

This research is aimed for devices generate guided inquiry model science of learning are valid, practical, and effectiveness to improve science process skills and students understanding concept. Science of learning essentially for junior carries three aspects: product, process and attitude. But the reality is more emphasize on products such laws, theories, formulas, and so on. Students are required memorize of formulas be able problem solving so much. The learning process isn’t learners as the main focus in educational process, but teachers as the only major source of learning. Learning of science needs to be designed so that what is learners can touch the problem in their daily lives. Subject in the research were students of class VII A and VII C SMPN 2 Porong determined by random sampling of the seven existing classes. Class VII C as a control group and class VII A as the experimental group. The main data used to see the outcome learning is the result pretest and posttest data. Furthermore, the data were analyzed the score of the results test.
