Abstract

Music ul dhaul according to sources from some of the Madurese which includes humanists, artists, actors, heads of relevant agencies, community leaders, some academics explained that there are several versions. According to some sources obtained from the community at the top of ul dhaul not a music that stands alone but is experiencing acculturation music of various musical traditions that exist in Madura. Instruments used in music Ul Dhaul consists of: Saronen, Bak place Shrimps, Flying, Tram-tam, Kempul Gong, Saron, Peking, Kenong Telo ', large Bonang, tambourine, Dhuk-dhuk, thong thong and drums. Each instrument has the task, the role and function of itself alone. So that every instrument has the technique, form and musical arrangements that vary depending on the needs of a show.
