Abstract

The research based on the lower student ability to know and understand the rule at home and school aktivities, in teaching process of civics. It’s because the teacher only using the reguler text book rather than other alternative media to run the teaching process, it caused many students lack of understanding with the teaching materials. The researcher try to find out the problem solving strategy by using the flash card media. In order to find out how to increase teachers, students, and lerning outcomes activities by using flash card media.The research use a class action for the firts grade of elementary students of SDNKandangan I, it consists of 40 students. The research use data collection methods by observational and test. While the instrument areobservasional form and tests. The research was conducted during two step using quatitative descriptive analysis techniques.The result shows teachers activities has increased from the first step to second step amount of 79,5% to 90,9%. Students activities has increased from the first step to the second step amount of 79,2% to 91,6%. While the learning process results has increased from the first step to the second step amount of 72,5% to 87,5%. The researcher conclude, by using flash card media could effectively increased the learning results of the students in mater of the rule home and school activities. The statement has been proven during the teaching process on each step has increasingly positive result.
