BLENDED LEARNING AND STUDENTS’ LEARNING INDEPENDENTLY AS BASIC TO BE SUCCESS IN LEARNING

Abstract

Teachers frequently use textbooks as a source of learning, but there is a very useful learning resources such as the internet. Learning patterns by combining face-to-face learning activities with the utilization of online media is growing rapidly. This article is aimed to describe the concept of blended learning and students’ learning authonomy in terms of definition, Constructivism learning theory as foundation in practice of both, its influence on learning outcomes, and instructional design in form blended learning by consider the level of students’ learning authonomy. This article was compiled using the literature review in which relevant to the field of study. This article was expected to improve the quality of the learning process and solutions to overcome learning problems. Based on the study shows that the learning activities that integrate information and communication technologies by consider the level of students’ learning authonomy is able to provide opportunities to develop students' skills, share learning experiences, and preparing variety of resources to improve learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers use information technology to improve quality of teaching and learning.
