Abstract

In the learning process, learning media is the one of facilities used to achieve the goal of student learning. PKBMAl-Hikmah Sukodonoselect radio media education to overcome the limitations of space and time learners who can not follow the learning in the classroom. This study provides a question about (1) how the use of radio media education on learning of KejarPaketCin the pkbmal-hikmah(2) whether the use of radio media education can foster motivation for students of Kejar Paket c. This study aimed to use radio media education in motivating students of Kejar Paket C so that later could be a reference to appropriate media used for students of Kejar Paket C so that students can be motivated to follow learning.

This type of research is qualitative research. Data sources derived from informants that people who learn Kejar Paket C, tutor of Kejar Paket C, broadcaster, as well as the organizer of PKBM Al-Hikmah. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive approach. Collecting data in this study using the method (1) interview (2) observation(3)documentation and supported by questionnaire. Data analysis technique is done by (1) Data Reduction (2)data presentation (3)conclusion.Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The focus of this study is the use of radio media education in educational leaning equality of Kejar Paket C.

Result from this study that Radio media education in the PKBM Al-Hikmah broadcast using a special broadcast of building owned PKBMAl- Hikmah which according to the broadcasting schedule learning of Kejar Paket C is Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. R adio media education in the PKBM AL- HikmahKecamatanSukodono have considerable benefits to the students and the society to seek information and learning about Kejar Paket C. The weakness of radio media education belongs to this PKBM is not reaching all learners to learn Kejar Paket C due to constrained channel. So before choosing the radio medium as a medium of education in the learning process should pay attention to the completeness of the broadcast and broadcast waves. Moreover, innovation in terms of broadcasters, materials, and resources should be increased in order to make radio media education more attractive and to motivate learners to listen.
