Focus and Scope

JP (Jurnal Pendidikan) : Teori dan Praktik is a scientific journal that contains and disseminate the results of research, in-depth study, and the ideas orinnovative work in the field of science education. The innovative work of the teachers and lecturers of the development of the education sector which is able to make a positive contribution to the schools and educational institutions the focus of this journal.

Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to the JP (Jurnal Pendidikan) : Teori dan Praktik will be selected, read, and reviewed in a blind (peer review) by (a minimum) 2 reviewers who are experts in their field. The acceptance of an article depends on the truth of the content, the degree of originality, clarity of description, and conformity with the objectives of the journal.

 

Articles may be accepted without revision, accepted with minor revisions, received by major revision, or rejected. The results of review articles by reviewers will be notified to the author via email. The author is given an opportunity to revise his article in accordance with the reviewer's suggestion (and editor) no later than 8 weeks after the notification email.

To prevent plagiarism, all incoming articles will be checked for authenticity by using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.

The peer review process for articles is free of charge. For published articles, a publication fee of IDR 750,000 is charged. All articles published in the Jurnal Pendidikan (Teori dan Praktik) are open access by following Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Publication Frequency

JP (Jurnal Pendidikan) : Teori dan Praktik, is a peer-reviewed journal that is managed and published by Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) periodically (1 year 2 times) with 10 articles per issue (20 articles per year).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Anti Plagiarism

The submitted article must not contain plagiarism. The editorial team will scan the plagiarism content of the article using the help of Turnitin application subscribed by Universitas Negeri Surabaya

Journal History

JP (Jurnal Pendidikan) : Teori dan Praktik published since April 2016. This journal pubslihed periodically twice a year. JP (Jurnal Pendidikan) : Teori dan Praktik  starting from Volume 8 No. 1 of 2023 to improve the quality of publications has replaced the new template and uses English.

The journal is classified into national's 3rd highest cluster for reputable journal in Indonesia (SINTA 3)
