Teachers have never developed and used interactive LKPD. Molecular shape is one of the topics that is considered difficult, abstract, and challenging, so teaching materials are needed that can visualize the concept well, one of them through using Augmented Reality technology. This research aims to: (1) create product that fulfill the development feasibility criteria; and (2) find put the response of students to the product during trial. This study is Research and Development (R&D) that refers to the 3D development model, namely Define, Design, and Develop. The instruments used in this study were interview sheet, survey questionnaire, validation sheets, questions item in the product, and questionnaire for students' response to the product. A number of 10 students of X MIPA class were selected through purposive sampling technique as research sample. The research data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that: (1) product has fulfilled the criteria of being very feasible and very valid with average percentage of 87%, very effective with average score of 99 that also supported by the acquisition of average percentage of completeness of working on questions of 97%, very practical with average percentage of 93%; and (2) students' response to the product is very good. The average percentage of student’s responses per aspect item in the questionnaire was 92.81%. About 70% students stated that product is interesting and easy to understand.

Johnsen Harta Filmonia Greslita Bili Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-12-18 2023-12-18 7 2 267 276 10.26740/jcer.v7n2.p267-276 Improving Student's Critical Thinking Ability Using Argument-Drivent Inquiry Approach in Thermochemistry https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jcer/article/view/23194
This study aimed to investigate the impact of the Argument-Driven Inquiry instruction (ADI-Based Instruction) in thermochemistry on students' critical thinking skills. This study applied the one group pretest-posttest type of pre-experiment design. The subjects of this study were 71 eleven grade students of Public Senior High School of Ambulu Jember on academic year of 2022/2023. The instrument, namely the critical thinking ability test on thermochemistry, was developed by the researchers based on Ennis' critical thinking ability framework. This test consists of 10 valid items with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.782. The results showed that thermochemistry instruction carried out using ADI instructional model improve students' critical thinking skills with an N-gain of 0.731 (high category) and Cohen's d-effect size of 1.023 (large effect category) with an intermediate reliability of 0.619 (good categories). These results indicate that ADI-based instruction on thermochemistry can improve students' critical thinking skills. The implication of this study is that ADI-based instruction can be applied to other subjects who have the same characteristics of thermochemistry, namely having contextual, factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge.
Intan Diah Purwandari Muntholib Anugrah Ricky Wijaya Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-12-18 2023-12-18 7 2 243 251 10.26740/jcer.v7n2.p243-251 Development of E-Student Worksheets-Based on Guided Inquiry Assisted by Augmented Reality and Three Dimension on Human Excretory System Topic https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jcer/article/view/20097
21st century places students as an active subjects in the learning process. Electronic Student Worksheets based on guided inquiry and assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) and three-dimensional (3D) technology can facilitate the learning process that can be students centered in the era of rapid technological developments and the pandemic covid-19. The purpose of this research was to produce an electronic student worksheets based on guided inquiry assisted by AR and 3D on valid and practical human excretory system topic to be used in science learning at the VIII grade junior high school level. This study used research and development (R&D) methods with a 4D development model consisting of the stages defining, designing, developing, and disseminating, but in this study, there was no disseminate stage. The electronic student W\worksheets was tested on a limited basis to 32 students of class VIII G SMP Negeri 24 Malang. This study E- Student Worksheet Based on Guided Inquiry Assisted By Augmented Reality and Three Dimension on valid and practical human excretory system material used in science learning at the VIII grade junior high school level. The validity of the developed E- Student Worksheet obtained a percentage of 98.02% with a very valid category. The practicality of the E- Student Worksheet in terms of the assessment process, students obtained a percentage of 97% with a very practical category. Meanwhile, the practicality of E- Student Worksheet in terms of student responses obtained a percentage of 93.25% with a very practical category.
Isnanik Isna Wilda Qurrota A'yuna Rif'atul Himmah Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-12-18 2023-12-18 7 2 277 289 10.26740/jcer.v7n2.p277-289 The Use of Integrated Learning Media of TikTok and Instagram Social Media on Student Learning Motivation on Cation Qualitative Analysis Materials Groups I and II https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jcer/article/view/19943
This study was conducted to determine the effect of using integrated learning media TikTok and Instagram in increasing students' learning motivation in qualitative analysis materials for groups I and II. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method using a distributed questionnaire to determine the increase in students' learning motivation. This research was conducted in one of the State Vocational High Schools in Malang City which involved 29 students of class XII Analytical Chemistry 1. Data analysis was in the form of a qualitative test on students' learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that the use of TikTok and Instagram learning media can increase students' motivation to study qualitative analysis materials for groups I and II. The existence of integrated learning media for TikTok and Instagram social media, allows students to learn material anytime and anywhere.
Hayuni Retno Widarti Munzil Munzil Neena Zakia Deni Ainur Rokhim Afis Baghiz Syafruddin Zalfa Adhya Rachmanita Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-07-02 2023-07-02 7 2 169 177 10.26740/jcer.v7n1.p169-177 The Use of Instagram Integrated Learning Media Against Student Learning Motivation in Reaction Rate Material https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jcer/article/view/19942
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Instagram integrated learning media on students' learning motivation in the matter of reaction rate.
