Focus and Scope

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling: Teori dan Praktik) practitioners (teacher, counselor, observer, etc), and academics. Access to journal (FREE) for reader and authors who want to publish an article to be charged. Articles published for this journal may include research results, community service results in the area of Counseling and Guidance, and literacy studies in counseling guidance.

Peer Review Process

Qualification of journal reviewers Bikotetik is a professional Guidance and Counseling with a minimum of S2 (Magister) education qualification. The areas of reviewer's expertise are Multicultural Counseling, Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counseling (Counseling Theory, Strategy and Techniques, Career Guidance and Counseling, Gender, Spiritual Counseling).

All articles that go to Bikotetik (Counseling Guidance: Theory and Practice) will be selected, read, and reviewed in a closed (blind peer review) by (minimum) 1 reviewer who is an expert in their field. The acceptance of an article depends on the truth of the content, the degree of originality, clarity of description, and conformity with the objective of the journal.

The decision of the Editorial Board of the entry articles is acceptable without revision, received with minor revisions, received by major revision, or rejected. The results of review articles by reviewers will be notified to the author via email. The author is given an opportunity to revise his article in accordance with the reviewer's suggestion (and editor) no later than 4 weeks after the notification email.

 To prevent plagiarism, all incoming articles will be checked for authenticity by using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling : Teori dan Praktik) will be publish twice in a years on May and November (One volume two numbers). Five articles on each number. From volume 2 number 1 we will be publish 10 articles on each number.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles submitted to Jurnal Bikotetik must be the original work (free of plagiarism). The submitted article has never existed in any media and/or is not being or will be submitted in any medias. The author is responsible for the authenticity of the submitted manuscript. All incoming articles will be checked for authenticity to prevent plagiarism by using turnitin anti-plagiarism software. Any forms of high-level plagiarism will be banned (temporary up to permanent banned).

Journal History

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling : Teori dan Praktik) Department Faculty of Education Unesa in May 2017. The publication of this journal is motivated by the need for online-based journals and the rapid development of theory and practice in Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia. This journal is published 1 year 2 times in May and November. In each issue there are 10 articles, starting volume 2 no 1 article published 20 articles. This is done to prepare for accreditation.
