Archery is a sport that requires high concentration, postural stability, coordination, and good physical condition for a long time. The physical components needed by archery athletes are muscle endurance, especially in arm muscle endurance, abdominal muscle endurance (core), and back muscle endurance. Physical training using resistance bands and planks is believed to be an effective solution to increase muscle endurance capacity which is useful for supporting the stability and accuracy of athletes' archery. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach and a Two Group Pretest-Postest Design. The sample in this study amounted to 20 athletes from the Surabaya Fast Archery Club and the sample was divided into two groups randomly and a pretest-posttest was carried out on measurement test items in the form of push-ups, sit-ups, back-ups, and scores at a distance of 40 meters which was carried out to develop an appropriate training program. The following results of the t-test are 0.00 or P < 0.05 and the results of the independent t-test are > 0.05 or P > 0.05, so there is an effect of resistance bands on muscle endurance. Research has shown that resistance band exercises and planks are effective in improving muscle endurance in the arms, abdomen and back. There was no significant difference between the seated face pull and rowing programmes and the plank. This improvement in muscle endurance was also not associated with archery accuracy.
