Studi empiris pada sektor industri (sebagai gambaran riil competitiveness) menunjukkan bahwa usaha </em><em>kecil </em><em>menengah</em><em> (UKM) </em><em>memiliki beberapa keunggulan untuk bersaing di pasar. </em><em>UKM</em> <em>Bapak Handoko yang terletak di Jl. Banjar Sari,Gesing No.16 Buduran kota Sidoarjo. UKM berdiri sejak tahun 2005. Beliau memproduksi sepatu perharinya tidak kurang </em><em>10</em><em> pasang/hari. Harga sepatu yang di jual berkisar dari Rp.150.000 – Rp.300.000 sepasang. Omset yang didapat berkisar Rp.</em><em>45</em><em>.000.000/bulan.</em><em> Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang kita lakukan pada UKM mengalami kendala dalam hal meningkatkan kemampuan produksi serta kualitas produk dikarenakan</em> <em>pada proses produksi masih bersifat manual dengan cara dipukul-pukul. Hal ini mengakibatkan UKM mengalami kesulitan untuk meningkatkan </em><em>k</em><em>ualitas atau hasil produksi.</em> <em>Untuk mengatasi permasalah</em><em>an UKM </em><em> tersebut, kami memiliki solusi yaitu</em> <em>Mesin Press Sepatu Dengan Teknologi Electrical Control Unit Berbasis Jack Screw System</em><em>. </em><em>Alat</em> <em>ini dilengkapi dengan </em><em>Electronic Control Unit (ECU) yang memiliki beberapa fitur yaitu</em><em> tekanan </em><em>dan lamanya penekanan, mampu mengepress sepatu dengan gaya penekanan mencapai 570 kg, memiliki kapasitas sekali pengepressan satu pasang sepatu sekaligus karena dilengkapi dengan double clem. The suitability of this transformer refers to the results of measurements using winding insulation resistance test parameters, Polarization Index (IP), winding delta tangent, and breakdown voltage (BDV) of transformer oil using international test standards (IEEE, IEC and CIGRE). The measurement results obtained are then compared with the calculations, then by referring to the standards it will be known whether the transformer is still suitable for operation or not. The results of the insulation resistance test on the 2 30 MVA GI Padang Luar power transformer showed that the insulation resistance value was in the range of 8.91 – 29.7 GΩ and the polarization index was in the range of 1.77 – 2.55. Tangent delta testing produces results between 0.1706 – 0.8708%. In the breakdown voltage test, a value of 59.3 kV/2.5 mm was obtained for the top oil and 57.6 kV/2.5 mm for the bottom oil. The test results obtained are the same as calculations using the calculation formula. Based on the test results with the parameters above then referring to IEEE, IEC and CIGRE standards, the 2 30 MVA GI Padang Luar power transformer is still suitable for operation even though it is more than 10 years old.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: transformer feasibility, power transformer testing, international standards, 2 30 MVA power transformer, GI Padang Luar.</p> Gilang Arinsya Arinsya Prima Copyright (c) 2023 Indonesian Journal of Engineering and Technology (INAJET) https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/inajet/article/view/27103 Sat, 30 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0700 Pengambilan Keputusan Pada Gripper Menggunakan Metode Fuzzy Logic & Telegram https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/inajet/article/view/26955 <p>Penerapan gripper dalam dunia industri yang telah mempermudah pekerjaan manusia dalam proses <br>pemilahan, namun memiliki kekurangan tidak bisa memilah objek berdasarkan warna objek tersebut.<br>Kondisi seperti itulah yang dapat mempengaruhi faktor kualitas produksi pemilahan objek. Penelitian ini <br>menghasilkan sistem end effector gripper menggunakan metode fuzzy dan aplikasi telegram sebagai <br>kontrol yang mempunyai fungsi untuk membedakan warna objek yang digenggam oleh gripper, sehingga <br>meminimalisir kesalahan pemilahan objek berdasarkan warna. Telegram digunakan karena aplikasinya <br>yang cukup ringan dan bisa diakses dimanapun asal terhubung dengan koneksi internet. Penelitian ini <br>menggunakan metode fuzzy logic sebagai proses pengambilan keputusan. Metode fuzzy digunakan karena <br>salah satu metode yang sangat fleksibel dan memiliki nilai toleransi pada data yang ada. Fungsi telegeram <br>pada penelitian ini digunakan sebagai kontrol utama untuk memberi perintah pada gripper. Sensor warna <br>TCS3200, pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk mendeteksi warna objek. Sensor TCS3200 mengkonversi<br>nilai intensitas cahaya menjadi 8bit agar bisa dibaca oleh microcontroller pada setiap warna dalam <br>pengujian. Warna merah, hijau, dan biru dipilih sebagai acuan karena warna primer atau dasar dari <br>semua warna. Dari hasil pengujian keseluruhan sistem pada penelitian ini didapatkan presentasi sebesar <br>90% keberhasilan dapat memindahkan objek secara tepat berdasarkan warna objek tersebut. This exercise requires huge labor operator numbers and a lot of time to achieve complete reading of meters in a particular area. This paper endeavors to do away with this problem by using a telemetering system. With this system, power can be measured from a remote site. To achieve this, readings from an energy meter on site are processed by a microcontroller device that then sends the energy consumption information to a Global System Mobile(GSM) module. The GSM module then sends this information using microwaves to a particular mobile subscriber who receives it in the form of an Short Message Service(SMS). The reading is also transmitted to a web based telemetering system through a server. In the remote site, a remote computer which can access the internet is able to obtain data from the server through the internet. The microcontroller is developed in such a way that it achieves communication between the energy meter and the particular server using Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) protocol. Software programs are also developed to facilitate transfer of data to the user at remote site. With the web based telemetering system connected to the internet, electrical energy measurements can be accessed globally. The efficiency of the transmission channel is important for the success of both SMS and web based telemetering systems.</p> <p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong> Telemetering system, remote sites, GSM </p> Mohanad Abdulhamid Copyright (c) 2023 Indonesian Journal of Engineering and Technology (INAJET) https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/inajet/article/view/26773 Sat, 30 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0700 COFDM System: Overview https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/inajet/article/view/26772 <p><em>This article compares the performance of two modulation techniques—quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) and quadrature M-ARY AMPLITUDE MODULATION (M-QAM) with M=8, 16, 32, and 64 in a coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system. As an error correction code, convolutional technology is used. Vehicle channels with white gaussian noise (AWGN) additives are used for communication. According to simulation data, for QPSK and M-QAM, coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems perform better than uncoded ones. In addition, the system performs better with QPSK than with M-QAM.
