MSMEs are the backbone that supports the development of the country's economy. MSMEs are one of the factors that generate the economy by providing their own jobs, so that they can reduce unemployment and poverty in Indonesia. However, one of the factors that must be considered when establishing a business is business legality, MSME actors must be officially registered with the government and have a business license, the type of business legality that must at least be owned is a Business Identification Number certificate, NIB registration itself can be done through the Online Single website. By having a Business Identification Number Certificate, the business has been officially registered with the government. The benefits of having a Business Identification Number are obtaining legal protection and facilitating access to finance because many financial institutions make NIB a requirement for applying for capital loans. Therefore, UPN veteran East Java students who take part in the Bina Desa program in Gununganyar Village, Surabaya have the initiative to provide assistance and socialization to MSMEs in Gununganyar Village, one of which is the D'morena Brownies business to obtain an NIB certificate with the aim of improving the welfare of MSMEs.
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Abimanyu: Journal of Community Engagement https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/abimanyu/article/view/28297 Inovasi Produk Herbal Telang Panjare Untuk Peluang Usaha Warga Kelurahan Gunung Anyar 2024-02-09T09:51:30+07:00 Tengku Sandi Yudha Yudha 21012010154@student.upnjatim.ac.id Ugy Soebiantoro ugybin@gmail.com
The butterfly flower, usually call the Telang flower, is a type of plant that grows like beans and has purple leaves. Butterfly pea flowers contain anthocyanin compounds, so when used as a solvent, they produce a purple color in food products. The anthocyanin compounds used as natural dyes also have antioxidant properties, which function to ward off free radicals and prevent premature aging and degenerative diseases. In this activity, the community RW1 Gunung Anyar Village, especially the KSH Cadres, were accompanied and given counseling regarding the manufacture and benefits of Telang Panjare Syrup, which can be used as a business opportunity by developing innovative products that can increase the sales value of consumer herbal drinks and create new market share so that this product can become a sustainable business. Panjare Telang Syrup is a beverage product made from herbal ingredients made from Telang flowers, which have a characteristic blue color. Also, the blue color dissolves in water, so the packaging looks attractive. UPN's "veteran" East Java village development team saw a business opportunity and experimented with producing Terang He Panjare His syrup. This idea was finally implemented well in socialization activities with the theme "Business Management Strategies for MSMEs."
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Abimanyu: Journal of Community Engagement https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/abimanyu/article/view/28293 Training on the Manufacture and Digital Marketing of Husk Waste Briquettes in Punggul Village, Sidoarjo 2024-02-09T09:57:49+07:00 Linda Oktafia 21012010113@student.upnjatim.ac.id Isnatul Agil Kinanti 21012010116@student.upnjatim.ac.id Muhammad Dafa Alisharsa 21012010009@student.upnjatim.ac.id Rafi Irgie rafiirgie15@gmail.com Aisa Fadhilatul Istiqomah 21012010010@student.upnjatim.ac.id Arief Budiman arief.budiman.kwu@upnjatim.ac.id
This community service was carried out in RT 05 RW 02 Punggul Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo on November 25, 2023 for assistance in processing briquettes from biomass materials to be able to manage rice husk waste into more valuable briquettes and can become business products as well as marketing these briquette products digitally. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the preparation stage of the activity, the implementation of the activity, and the evaluation stage. The training activities for making briquettes from rice husk waste start from making dough, molding, drying, testing briquettes, and also digital marketing training, as well as creating social media accounts. The results of the implementation of this activity show the enthusiasm of Punggul villagers who can make briquettes from rice husk waste and have an understanding of marketing briquettes digitally through Instagram. The community is expected to be able to make briquettes independently by utilizing rice husk waste to become raw material for briquettes, and the community in Punggul Village has the skills to market briquettes by utilizing social media to do digital marketing.

Keywords: Training, Briquettes, Husk, Marketing, Instagram
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Abimanyu: Journal of Community Engagement https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/abimanyu/article/view/28294 Pengembangan Pembukuan Sederhana Bank Sampah sebagai Modal Usaha UMKM Gunung Anyar, Surabaya 2024-02-09T09:58:30+07:00 Muhammad Azzam Firdaus Hemawan 21012010206@student.upnjatim.ac.id Ugy Soebiantoro ugybin@gmail.com
Surabaya in 2020 produced 2,091.39 tons of waste per day, based on the assumption of waste generated by each person (Dinas Kebersihan dan Ruang Terbuka Hijau, 2020). One of the solutions in waste management in Surabaya City is to promote waste banks. Likewise, RW 01 Gunung Anyar Village experiences problems in waste management. Not only that, the residents of RW 01 Gunung Anyar Village have an icon of butterfly pea flowers, which is an opportunity to form a sustainable and competitive small business, namely Sari Bunga Telang. However, the business is faced with capital costs for business development in its management. This research bridges the gap between the sustainable waste management approach and the empowerment of Sari Bunga Telang. With a better and organized financial system in the form of a bank pass book and income recapitulation in google spreadsheet, it increases the outcome and efficiency in waste bank processing. Not only that, the income also adds to the business capital of Sari Bunga Telang as a contribution to improving the prosperity of RW 01 residents.
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Abimanyu: Journal of Community Engagement https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/abimanyu/article/view/28134 Pemberdayaan Komunitas Tuli Gresik (Kotugres) Melalui Pelatihan Bisnis Digital 2024-02-09T09:53:35+07:00 Supriyanto Supriyanto supriyantosupriyanto@unesa.ac.id Hafid Kholidi Hadi hafidkholidihadi@gmail.com Acep Ovel Novari Beny acepbeny@unesa.ac.id Hitta Alfi Muhimmah hittamuhimmah@unesa.ac.id Wiryanto Wiryanto wiryanto@unesa.ac.id
The Gresik Deaf Community (Kotugres) is a community of young and productive deaf people who need to receive digital business training to support their economic independence. This training can also be used as a strategy to empower Kotugres from unfavorable conditions such as negative stigma from society, discrimination, neglect and economic and social marginalization. Kotugres' products need to be marketed digitally after manual/offline business processes have stagnated due to changes in people's mindsets which are starting to abandon offline shopping habits and tend to increase interest in online shopping, especially the Covid-19 pandemic situation which has not yet 100% subsided to create a digital business platform increasingly needed and popular with society. The PKM implementation went well, smoothly, participants were enthusiastic in taking part in the activities and were guided in using the market place. The next stage is preparing PKM outputs in the form of scientific publications in national journals or proceedings, publications in online mass media, and videos of activities uploaded on YouTube.
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Abimanyu: Journal of Community Engagement
