Eksplorasi Etnosains Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya Sebagai Sumber Belajar IPAS Sekolah Dasar

Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya adalah salah satu cagar budaya penting di Indonesia yang menjadi simbol sejarah perjuangan dalam bidang pertahanan laut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan siswa sekolah dasar pada kapal selam sebagai sumber belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial (IPAS) berbasis Etnosains dapat memperluas wawasan mereka tentang warisan budaya dan sains, sambil memperkuat rasa cinta akan budaya dan kebangsaan. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dan studi literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Etnosains pada Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya adalah adanya konsep fisika berupa prinsip Archimedes, hukum Boyle, massa, jenis massa, massa jenis fluida, hukum Bernoulli, penggunaan pengungkit, gerak, gaya gesek, perpindahan fluida, gaya gravitasi, keseimbangan, listrik, baterai dan generator, dan penggunaan energi listrik.

Model Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SD

The impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution era demands students to possess critical thinking skills to keep up with technological advancements. However, a considerable number of students exhibit low levels of critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the Problem-Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach on students' critical thinking skills. This study employs a quasi-experimental research design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Instruments used to measure critical thinking skills include pretests and posttests in the form of essay questions. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive techniques and t-tests. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach has a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills. This is evident in the final results of the experimental group, where the average score is 85.72 with a total of 28 students (N). In contrast, the control group has an average score of 58.44 with a total of 30 students (N). The T-test results show that the calculated t value is greater than the t table (10.933 > 1.672) and a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of the Null Hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha). Overall, these findings confirm the significant influence of implementing the Problem-Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach on students' critical thinking skills.

Pengelolaan Kurikulum Sekolah Alam di SD Alam Al-Izzah Krian Sidoarjo

Natural school is an alternative to nature-based education by utilizing natural resources around the environment, especially school’s environment. This study aims to observe and describe the management of the natural school curriculum implemented at SD Alam Al-Izzah, which is located in Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Management of the implemented curriculum includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include interviewa, observation, and documentation. With data analysis in the form of triangulation. The research result include; 1) the planning stage, the curriculum used is a combination og=f the national curriculum and the natural school curriculum based on four pillars namely morals, logic, leadership, and business, 2) the implementation stage of the curriculum focuses on learning prpgrams in character education, moral, and tahfidz, 3) evaluation stage the curriculum is held every weekend and at the end of the semester. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference in implementing and managing curriculum in nature-based schools in a better direction.

Pengembangan Media Komik “KOKO” Berbasis Karakter untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar

Character-based koko comic media is an innovation in developing learning media, especially for mathematics subjects of grade 3 fractional material at MI NU Wedoro Sidoarjo. The purpose of this research aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of cocoa comic media. In this study, researchers used Research and Development (R&D) research methods with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data obtained through observation and interviews, validation instruments, questionnaires and tests. Information or data that has been obtained is then analyzed and produces conclusions from teachers, students, material experts, media experts as a repsondent in providing information on this development research. The results showed that the level of validity of comic media is in the category of very valid and can be used with a little revision. In addition, for the level of practicality of comic media, koko is in the very practical category. Data on the effectiveness of comics is also in the category of very effective, because it sees an increase in student learning outcomes from post-test and pre-test.

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam Pembelajaran: Evaluasi dan Pembaruan

Kurikulum Merdeka, sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam pendidikan di Indonesia, telah diimplementasikan sebagai langkah progresif dalam memperkuat karakter, kreativitas, dan kemandirian siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kurikulum tersebut dan mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah pembaruan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap keterlibatan siswa, peran guru, penggunaan teknologi, dan dampak terhadap hasil pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, dengan pendekatan berbasis proyek dan kontekstual. Peran guru berubah menjadi lebih sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran dengan keberhasilan adaptasi terhadap peran baru. Meskipun terdapat kemajuan dalam penggunaan teknologi, masih terdapat kendala terkait infrastruktur dan ketersediaan perangkat. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, termasuk dukungan orang tua dan pihak sekolah, serta strategi pembaruan yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Rekomendasi pembaruan mencakup pelatihan guru berkelanjutan, investasi infrastruktur teknologi, peningkatan komunikasi dengan orang tua, dan integrasi rencana karir dalam kurikulum. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka, dan memberikan panduan bagi pembaruan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di lembaga tersebut.
